As a proud sponsor of National Association of Women in Construction Week, several FMGI ladies attended the Hard Hats and High Heels Gala hosted by the Atlanta Chapter and enjoyed meeting other women in the industry. The gala was a fabulous way to wrap up Women in Construction week.
The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) focuses on empowering women and advancing the construction industry. With 161 Chapters throughout the United States and five international Chapters, NAWIC includes every discipline such as superintendents, project managers, architects, engineers, administrative assistants, receptionists, tradeswomen, comptrollers, accounts payables and receivables, construction attorneys and insurance companies. The mission is executed through education, community and advocacy.
