The NAWIC Atlanta held their annual Block Kids event on February 3rd. Block Kids is a free construction/engineering brick-building competition for students K-6th grade. Students competed for prize money, advancement to regionals/nationals, and engaged in priceless learning experiences. The goal of the event, is for kids to learn and become empowered to explore the construction industry. The 230 kids in attendance, used Lego’s to build a construction related project. As a gold sponsor for this year’s event, FMGI handed out bags, pretend PPE and a fun coloring book about general contracting. The FMGI team enjoyed being a part of this exciting and impactful event!
