FMGI has completed two major ALDI grocery conversions in Southwest Florida: ALDI Immokalee (24,242 SF) and ALDI LaBelle (22,508 SF). Both projects involved converting existing Winn-Dixie locations into fully operational ALDI stores.
This complete interior renovation of the ALDI space included a new interior framing layout, flooring, wall finishes and lighting. The full ALDI graphics package was installed throughout the store, along with a brand-new redesigned storefront. Since Winn-Dixie’s are larger, the FMGI team framed a demising wall to create a future tenant space within the building footprint.
All major building systems were newly installed, which included mechanical, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, fire sprinkler, fire alarm and low voltage. The project delivered a fully renovated, modern retail space built to ALDI’s brand and operational standards.
Managing complex system integrations while adhering strictly to ALDI operational standards made these projects especially rewarding. Two more ALDI conversions in Cape Coral and Fort Myers are right around the corner.
Congratulations to the FMGI team on two successful renovations!
