Lubbock Walmart 861 and Amarillo Walmart 5216 made a big impact on their community with their Give Back Donations.  FMGI superintendents Chris Thomason and Manny Floresjoined Lubbock, Tx Walmart 861 in celebrating its grand opening on November 17, 2023. Walmart’s Lubbock Market selected Lubbock Meals on Wheels, a local non-profit who offers a hot meal and companionship to homebound residents.  With the help of over 1,600 volunteers, Lubbock Meals on Wheels serves over 1,000 meals each day and over 550 meals each weekend in the Lubbock and Wolfforth communities.  The hot, nutritious meal they deliver is important, but so is the daily human contact their volunteers provide.

Walmart’s Amarillo market celebrated on November 3, 2023 with a donation to Gateway to Success Inc.  Gateway to Success, Inc. works to improve the ability of individuals in Dallas and Amarillo seeking change in order to support themselves and achieve goals of self-sufficiency.  These include opportunities such as parenting classes, life skills classes and counseling.  FMGI superintendents Cory Clevenger & Nevin Sowers led the remodel efforts.
