In honor of its grand opening on January 5th, Jacksonville Walmart 1444 selected K9’s for Warriors to receive their Give Back donation. Superintendents Jimmy Holbrook and James Moran were present for the check presentation.
This unique program saves veterans and rescue dogs simultaneously. Determined to end veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors provides highly-trained service dogs to military veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma. With the majority of dogs being rescues, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery.
