In partnership with Alquist, a pioneer in 3D construction technology, we’re transforming the process with operational enhancements including:
- Environmental
The 3D concrete printing process is carbon-neutral and significantly reduces carbon emissions, truck traffic, diesel fuel usage and construction waste. - Quality
AI-trained robots bring consistency in precision and quality to the construction process from project to project. - Efficiency
Robots operating 24/7, supported by a team of six human operators reduce project timelines without compromising quality. - Talent
Cutting-edge technology attracts young tech-savvy and innovative talent.
We currently own one 3D printing robot with plans to add more to our fleet. Each robot can complete a project in as little as three weeks delivering consistent, high-quality construction projects with unprecedented speed and efficiency on simultaneous projects.
Case Study Walmart, Athens, TN
In September 2024, FMGI and Alquist collaborated to 3D concrete print the largest commercial structure in the U.S. for Walmart in Athens, TN. An 8,000-square foot pick-up and delivery structure was added to the exiting Walmart Supercenter building. At nearly 20’ high, it is the tallest commercial 3D-built and seismic-ready structure.
Current Project Walmart, Huntsville, AL
Our second 3D concrete printed structure is set to begin February 2025 on a 5,000-square foot addition to a Walmart Supercenter. This 3D printed addition of the grocery online pick-up location is one component of an overall store renovation.
