In partnership with Alquist 3D, a pioneer in 3D construction technology, we’re transforming the process with operational enhancements including:
- Efficiency
Robots operating 24/7, supported by a team of five human operators reduce project timelines without compromising quality. - Quality
AI-trained robots bring consistency in precision and quality to the construction process from project to project. - Environmental
The 3D concrete printing process significantly reduces carbon emissions, truck traffic, diesel fuel usage and construction waste. - Talent
Cutting-edge technology attracts young tech-savvy and innovative talent.
We are investing in a fleet of our own American-made robots. Each robot can deliver consistent, high-quality construction projects with unprecedented precision, speed and efficiency on simultaneous projects.
Case Study Walmart, Athens, TN
In September 2024, FMGI and Alquist collaborated to 3D concrete print the largest commercial structure in the U.S. for Walmart in Athens, TN. An 8,000-square foot pick-up and delivery structure was added to the exiting Walmart Supercenter building. At nearly 20’ high, it is the tallest commercial 3D-built and seismic-ready structure.
Proof of Performance Walmart, Huntsville, AL
Our second 3D concrete printed structure was completed in record time! A 5,000-square foot addition for the online pick-up and delivery location was just one component of an overall store renovation to the Owens Crossroads Walmart Supercenter. The team surpassed expectations in “printing” walls for the 5,000 SF addition:
- 7 days
- 75 print hours
- 5-person crew
- 2 robots
